My greatest strength is my presence in the therapy room. I am very supportive, I can hold space for very overwhelming thoughts, feelings, body sensations and life experiences. Additionally, I can offer strategies that can assist the clients with everyday coping and life management.
Why did I decide on my current profession?
I am very passionate about helping people work through their personal struggles. I felt there was a need for properly trained individuals to assist people in struggling with mental illness.

I love to observe clients making progress in their journey to mental wellness. This includes understanding where the behaviour originated from and how they can make changes in their current lives.

What does integrative wellbeing mean to you?
Humans are comprised of mind, body and soul. In order to achieve mental wellness, we have to integrate our thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and relationships into the healing process.
What do you want your clients to know about you and what it's like to work with you?
I am passionate about the work I do. My goal is to assist the client in understanding who they are, why they are struggling, and how to improve their current life. I accomplish this through a very supportive, compassionate and empathic environment, in which all thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and life events are welcome and honored in the therapy session.

What excites you about mental health?
It is exciting to see the latest advancements in regards to mental health. It is really an up-and-coming field with so much to learn.
What do you think are the biggest misconceptions about therapy?
Therapy is not magical. It takes transparency, motivation, and determination to actually see results.

What do you want to say to someone struggling with mental illness or emotional difficulty?
Mental illness can be very scary and overwhelming. However, there is hope. With the right help and support, you can begin to see a difference.

I am very grateful to G-d for what I have.
What’s your favourite hobby or past time?
I enjoy raising my children. I love to read and learn new information. I enjoy cooking and baking.
What’s your favourite book or topic to read?
Information related to social work. This includes the latest research that comes out and different mental health modalities.
What’s your favourite drink and how do you take it?
Decaffeinated coffee. I drink it strong with a dash of milk.
