Are you looking for a trauma informed, body-mind, and compassionate approach to therapy? Forging connections with my clients is very important to me and I use my personal and professional experiences to do so. If you are struggling with grief, stress or trauma, I can provide a warm and down-to-earth approach that uses humour to help you work through your emotions.

Why did I decide on my current profession?

As a nurse with many years experience in education and mental health, I knew that I could make a bigger impact by becoming a RN Psychotherapist.

What do I like most about what I do?

Connecting with clients and watching them discover more about themselves and then better understand what they are going through.

What does integrative wellbeing mean to you?

It means working towards a balance and health in all areas of your life.

What do you want your clients to know about you and what it's like to work with you?

I am easy going and use humour when appropriate. Therapy is about the client and I am here to support and encourage.

What excites you about mental health?

I love sharing what I know about mental wellness, healing, and coping strategies with others. Ypu do not have to suffer needlessly; there are ways to begin to feel better and become hopeful.

What does integrative wellbeing mean to you?

3 big misconceptions:

    • That if someone goes to therapy there is something wrong with them.
    • That it is uncomfortable and that the therapist will judge the client and their issues.
    • That the therapist will tell you what to do.
What do your clients say about you?

I am a good listener, non-judgmental, andgood at explaining concepts.

What do you want to say to someone struggling with mental illness or emotional difficulty?

Things can be difficult sometimes – don’t be afraid to reach out to talk to someone.
