Imagine Yourself....PRESENT IN THE MOMENT, LESS JUDGEMENTAL OF SELF AND MORE SELF-COMPASSIONATE... Are you struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, stress and conflict? Well, you are not alone.... Taking the time to dive into mindfulness education just might help. But note, mindfulness isn't about feeling relaxed, its not a religion and not about changing our thoughts. There are actually 5 core components to mindfulness that help you address the feelings you are struggling with...

1) Cultivating attention - deciding when, how and what you pay attention to

2) Nonjudgement - refraining from creating an opinion on what you are paying attention to and what you are engaged in

3) Accepting the present moment - wholeheartedly taking in what is going on without resistance

4) Identification - stop believing that you are your thoughts or emotion, you are just the one directing your attention to those thoughts and emotions

5) Choice - make space between what is happening and what your reaction is, and truly decide how to proceed

Want to learn more? Of course you do...and that’s why you should join our upcoming ONLINE group program, MINDFULNESS FOUNDATIONS. This will be a 8 week series held on ZOOM.  Each session is 1.5 hours, and is offered by our Social Worker Michal Goldstein.  So that means you get a receipt for insurance purposes!! Each week will include an educational component, guided exercises, discussion and homework assignment. Topics Include:
