What will Acupuncture be like?

Your Naturopathic Doctor will take a medical history, conduct a physical exam and perhaps order diagnostic bloodwork to assess your condition. A personalized treatment plan will be created for you, and follow-up sessions provided to ensure your symptoms subside and you meet your health goals.

To receive acupuncture several thin acupuncture needles will be placed along the meridian pathways that are believed to be blocked. This is done while you are laying down comfortably. The needles are left in place for 15-45 minutes and will help bring the body back into balance. Some people and areas of the body are more sensitive and with insertion, a slight prick may be felt, however, no pain is generally experienced.
