Karen Gold, MACP RP (Qualifying)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I chose this work to help others in a meaningful way. I hope to be a calming, stable presence who can listen to people's stories and help them gain clarity and awareness in their lives. I have a warm, empathetic personality and can help explore challenges as a curious mirror - shining a light on the areas that need attention while honouring the courage it takes to look.

I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative project where you are in the driver's seat, using the therapist as a guide to explore unexamined areas of your life. I respect the awesome privilege of being a part of another person's healing journey.

Much of my work centres on grief, relationships, parenting, boundary-setting, and self-esteem - the areas where life asks the most of us and where we often feel the most alone. Whether you're mourning a loss, navigating the exhaustion of parenthood, struggling to set limits with people you love, or working to rebuild your sense of self-worth, I bring curiosity and compassion to help you find your footing.

Clients can expect a space that is warm, non-judgmental, and gently challenging. I don't believe in rushing the process or offering quick fixes. Instead, I help you slow down, understand what's really happening beneath the surface, and develop a clearer, more compassionate relationship with yourself. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel truly heard - and where you begin to trust your own voice again.
