Sarah Jeffrey, MACP

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I chose this work because I believe deeply that everyone deserves to move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling empowered. Too often, mental health support can feel like a one-size-fits-all path, focusing more on fixing perceived flaws than on harnessing the innate strengths a person already carries.

I am driven by the meaningful moments when a client rediscovers their own capability - when we reframe a difficulty not as a personal failing, but as a context-dependent challenge that can be navigated. This is especially profound in my work with neurodivergent individuals, where the goal isn't to mask or change their unique wiring, but to honor it as a special part of their identity while building a supportive toolkit to manage the demands of the world.

When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative partnership. We start with me as a sounding board to clarify your goals, working together to clarify and demystify the how. You are the expert on your own experience; I bring expertise in evidence-based strategies and mental wellness frameworks. We will figure out what works for you and what doesn't, creating a plan that highlights your strengths and puts difficulties into a manageable context.

Whether you are an individual, part of a couple, or a parent seeking support for your child, my approach is tailored and practical. Together, we will harness the latest insights in mental wellness not as abstract concepts, but as personalized tools to help you meet your goals, reduce overwhelm, and move steadily toward living your best life.

Fun Facts

Beyond my work, my life is joyfully full as a partner and parent in a bustling blended family with four kids (ranging from 7 to 21) and a dog. We have playfully competitive family board game nights and movie nights for the lastest releases. My lifelong passion for learning is evident in my personal library, which houses hundreds of books—from Victorian classics and fantasy escapes to psychology texts and the perfect whodunnit. I stay active through sports like volleyball, badminton, and swimming. My path to psychotherapy was shaped by 15 deeply rewarding years in early childhood education, and I still maintain my Early Childhood Educator designation. These experiences—nurturing young minds, navigating family dynamics, and pursuing personal passions—all deepen my understanding and keep me grounded in the real-world applications of our collaborative work.
